Woodfibre LNG Community Roundtable on Gambier Island

Blog

Mar 20, 2015

Woodfibre LNG, in cooperation with the Sunshine Coast Regional District and Gambier Island Local Trust Committee, will be hosting a Roundtable Discussion on Gambier Island this Saturday, March 21. The event will be an opportunity for the community to ask questions and learn more about our proposed Project.

Saturday’s meeting comes during the third round of formal public consultation for the proposed Woodfibre LNG Project, and is in addition to Open House meetings put on in January by the province’s Environmental Assessment Office (EAO). During the current round of public consultation, the EAO held formal Open House meetings in Squamish, West Vancouver and on Bowen Island, which Woodfibre attended with project representatives and experts. Woodfibre has also been conducting regular meetings and one-on-one conversations at our Community Office in Squamish.
